If you’ve attended one of my Exam Success events you’ll know that there are ten focus points that I cover. This high-res desktop image is designed to act as a simple reminder to focus on these aspects of your revision to make it more effective and efficient. This Clock Revision resource is ideal for those of us who need assistance keeping control of our revision time.
The resource is divided into five-minute sections, all just the right size to fit five minutes worth of notes into. This can be in the form of writing, images or subjec-specific information.
And, after 25 minutes, there’s a section to remind us to take a five minute break, in-line with the Pomodoro technique.
Simplicity is often the best way.
Target Revision is a great way to break information down into smaller, bite-sized chunks making it much easier to memorise and recall.
The ‘Target’ is broken-up into four quarters; this is the ideal balance between having enough space to write and not too much information in one place.
The inner section is where you write the topic that you are studying. From there, the next section is for keywords or technical terms from the designated topic. The third section is for notes; just simple bullet points associated with the topic. Finally, the details section has the most space so you can go into more, well, detail.
Each section is designed to be not too big or too small so that it fits the appropriate volume of information in.
